We’ve collaborated with Wold Top to launch a beer can chicken beer!

Take your BBQ chicken to another level with Grill Magnet, a Yorkshire Pale Ale that has been brewed for us by fellow Yorkshire Wolds farmers and brewers, Wold Top Brewery.

Of the launch, MD Ben Lee said: “We’re excited to launch this Soanes and Wold Top branded beer to complement our chicken. It’s a flavourful, hop-forward Yorkshire Pale Ale with citrusy notes and fruity hits that are perfect for making Beer Can BBQ Chicken. The concept of beer can chicken is that the chicken is positioned over the open beer can on the barbecue, and the beer evaporates into the chicken’s cavity to create a deliciously tender and juicy chicken.”

Wold Top director, Kate Balchin added: “It was great fun working with Ben and the team on this delicious beer and we can’t wait to try it on the BBQ now that the weather has warmed up!”

Grill Magnet is designed to be used with the Chick Magnet chicken seasoning which was launched last year and is available exclusively online at soanespoultry.co.uk. A 330ml can of the 0.5% Grill Magnet beer costs £1.40. It is also available as part of an online Yorkshire BBQ bundle comprising a Higher Welfare Chicken, four cans of Grill Magnet, a tub of Chick Magnet savoury rub for chicken, and a stand to hold the beer can on the barbecue for £29.95.
