The teams at Church Hill Farm are celebrating after being shortlisted in a regional awards scheme.
Both Soanes Poultry and our sister company, Clive Soanes Broilers, have been shortlisted in the Yorkshire Post Rural Awards, which recognise and celebrate businesses, farms, organisations and individuals that have excelled in the rural community in Yorkshire.
We have been shortlisted for the Rural Business of the Year award and Clive Soanes Broilers has reached the final of the Poultry Farm of the Year.
Soanes Poultry’s MD, Ben Lee, said: “Both businesses contribute significantly to the rural economy, so we’re delighted to have been shortlisted in these prestigious awards.”
The team will learn whether they have been successful at an awards ceremony hosted by Country Post writer and judge Chris Berry at The Pavilions in Harrogate on September 26th. We face competition from Longley Farm, Lowe Maintenance, Moss Valley Fine Meats, Whole Crop Marketing and Yolk Farm and Clive Soanes Broilers is up against Herb Fed Poultry Ltd, Johnson’s Fresh Farm Eggs and Yolk Farm.
Wish us luck!
