Just a week or so after hearing the news that we’d reached the final of the Food Management Today Industry Awards with our Yorkshire Christmas Cockerel, we have found out that we’ve also been shortlisted for the National Egg and Poultry Awards! Whoop, whoop!
We have reached the final of the Poultry Business of the Year category in the awards which celebrate achievement, excellence and best practice in the sector and are backed by the British Egg Industry Council (BEIC), the British Poultry Council (BPC) and the National Farmers’ Union (NFU).
MD, Ben Lee welcomed the news: “I’m proud and delighted that we have reached the final of these prestigious national awards. We are one of the smallest independent poultry businesses in the UK, and it’s a credit to our hard-working teams that we have been shortlisted against such prestigious businesses.”
We face stiff competition from St. Ewe Free Range Eggs and Farmlay. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London later in the year.
