We’ve reached the final of a prestigious magazine food awards

We are delighted to announce that our free range chicken of the delicious. magazine awards.

Our chicken, reared just a few miles away from the factory, has been selected to represent the North East Region in the national final in the From the Field (Primary) Category that rewards products reared with a high regard for their physical and emotional welfare.

The chicken will go forward to the final round that will be judged by a panel including Yorkshire Provender soup founder, Belinda Williams.

Our General Manager, Nigel Upson, is delighted to reach the final: “As expected with a national competition of this calibre, the standard of entries in the delicious. awards is incredibly high, so we are very proud to be representing the best of the North East’s finest food and drink products. We look forward to hearing the results later in the year.”

The aim of the delicious. awards, run in association with home appliance company Fisher & Paykel, is to search out and champion local food heroes – small-scale, artisan producers from throughout the UK.
