We’re very proud to share the news that we have been shortlisted in a national poultry awards scheme.
Soanes Poultry and Clive Soanes Broilers have been shortlisted in three categories of the National Egg and Poultry Awards that celebrate achievement, excellence and best practice in the sector.
The National Egg and Poultry Awards are backed by the British Egg Industry Council (BEIC), the British Poultry Council (BPC) and the National Farmers’ Union (NFU). Soanes Poultry has reached the final of the Processor of the Year award, Clive Soanes Broilers has reached the final of the Poultry Business of the Year and Farm Manager Dave Hannibal has been shortlisted for the Unit Manager of the Year award. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London next month.
Soanes Poultry faces competition from Moy Park and Ambry for the Processor Award, Clive Soanes Broilers is in the final of the Poultry Business Award with Gressingham Foods, Noble Foods and Skea Eggs and Dave Hannibal’s opponents in the Unit Manager of the Year are Edward Hololob from Noble Foods and Adrian Marc from EC Drummond.
Claire Wright, MD of Clive Soanes Broilers and FD of Soanes Poultry is delighted with the news: “I’m delighted and proud that both businesses have reached the final of not one, but three awards at these prestigious national awards against some much, much bigger businesses. We are one of the smallest independent poultry businesses in the UK and it’s a credit to our hard-working teams that we have been shortlisted.”
