Our MD, Ben won Young Manager of the Year award!

The team at Church Hill Farm are celebrating after our MD, Ben Lee won a prestigious industry award.

Ben was presented with the Young Manager of the Year award at the Meat Management Industry Awards held in Birmingham last night.

Ben faced competition from Chris Riley from Crosby Management Training and Nathan Price from Price and Fretwell. The Young Manager Award celebrates someone who has made exceptional progress as a young meat manager and was considered exceptional by the judging panel.

“I’m overwhelmed and delighted. Little did I know when I joined Soanes Poultry aged 18 what the future held. To be promoted to MD and to win this award in the space of a year is amazing. Thanks to everyone who has supported me on my journey,” said Ben.

The awards were presented at a black-tie dinner that was hosted by ventriloquist and America’s Got Talent winner, Paul Zerdin. The awards are organised by Meat Management magazine and are the biggest meat industry awards celebration in the UK.
