Our Higher Welfare Chicken won Best Sustainable Product at the Deliciouslyorkshire Taste Awards

We’re delighted to share the news that we won an award for the sustainability of our chicken at the 21st annual Deliciously Yorkshire Taste Awards this week.

Our Higher Welfare Chicken won the Best Sustainable Product award, and our Grain Fed whole chicken was awarded Highly Commended in the Best Fresh Meat category in what is regarded as the largest food and drink awards programme in the region.

“We’re proud of our commitment to sustainable chicken rearing and to producing chicken that tastes great. We’re delighted to have received these accolades from a prestigious awards scheme which celebrates the best of Yorkshire’s food and drink producers,” said MD, Ben Lee.

We beat stiff competition from Sloemotion Distillery, The Milk Well and York Cocoa Works to win the Sustainable Product Award. Soanes stocksit Lishman’s of Ilkey’s Heritage Breed T-Bone Steak won the Best Fresh Meat award.
