We’re thrilled to announce that our free range chicken has been awarded highly commended in a prestigious food industry award.
We won the award in the Best Poultry category in the annual Food Management Today awards.
The winners of the awards were announced last week at a celebratory luncheon at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington that was hosted by celebrity chef, John Torode and attended by 250 guests, including our General Manager, Nigel and Sales Co-ordinator, Ben.
The award is the latest in a string of awards for us and follows gold stars at the Guild of Fine Foods 2018 Great Taste Awards for our Yorkshire chicken supreme, chicken fillet and Christmas Cockerel crown.
Ben is delighted that the industry has acknowledged the superior taste of our chicken: “It’s great to win consumer awards, but to know that your industry peers also value your products is very rewarding.
“We are dedicated to the provenance of our product and animal welfare, so it is a real honour for the whole team to win this award.”
The annual Food Management Today Industry Awards are a celebration of the creativity, innovation and excellence of the British food industry and are chosen by Food Management Today’s readers together with a select judging panel for product evaluation.
The announcement comes on the back of the news that we have reached the final of the REYTAs in the Remarkable Taste of East Yorkshire category.
