The team at Church Hill Farm, Middleton on the Wolds, is still buzzing after winning two categories of a regional business award which celebrates excellence, innovation, and outstanding achievements in the business community.
Last Thursday, we were over the moon to win both the Large Business of the Year and the Environmental and Sustainability categories of the 25th annual Hull & East Yorkshire Business Awards at a glittering event compèred by TV personality Gethin Jones.
MD, Ben Lee was with a number of the team at the event and was delighted to win the awards: “At the end of a very challenging week, and as we head towards our busiest time of the year, winning the awards was a real tonic and a testament to the hard work of our team.
“We have invested significantly in a solar array to power the factory and in a new refrigeration system to reduce our carbon footprint, so we were delighted to add the Hull & East Yorkshire Business Awards Environmental and Sustainability Award to the Deliciouslyorkshire Sustainable Product award we won for our chicken last month.”
We beat stiff competition from Integra Buildings Ltd and Spencer Group to win the Large Business of the Year, and Ashcourt Group and Premier Modular for the Environmental and Sustainability Award.
Thanks to everyone who has supported us.
Now it’s heads down and into Christmas!
Thank you, HEY Business Awards for sharing this fab image.
