We’re super proud of our Management Accountant, Magdalena Purvis, who has passed all the professional CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) exams and is now working towards achieving a CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant) designation.
The completion of CIMA, in addition to the challenging and time-pressured exams, requires three years of qualifying accounting experience, which Mrs Purvis is hoping will be signed off by Soanes Poultry’s Finance Director, Claire Wright shortly.
The course included modules on Financial Reporting, Management Accounting and Performance Management, Risk Management, Financial Strategy and Strategic Management and will help Magdalena improve processes and reporting for the Senior Management Team.
Commenting on the achievement, she said: “I am very grateful to Soanes for supporting me throughout this qualification. It’s been hard work combining work, study and home life, but it’s all been worth it.
“I’m keen to carry on learning, perhaps an advanced Excel course to gain some knowledge in data modelling and macros, but after the last five years studying CIMA, I will have a bit of a break first!”
“We’re very proud of Magdalena’s commitment to her studies and to the business and are delighted by her success,” said Claire Wright.
