We’re delighted to share the news that our Health, Safety and Procurement Manager, Kevin Holderness has been admitted to the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as a Technical Member.
Formerly an Affiliate Member of the IOSH, Kevin had to submit his job description and document his workplace experience to gain full membership. He said: “I’m always looking to improve my skills to maintain Soanes Poultry as a safe place of work. Being an IOSH member demonstrates a commitment to improving your Health and Safety professional development and gives you access to regular updates on changes to legislation plus other work-related information.”
Kevin’s line manager, Simon Rodgers said: “Kevin has worked hard to gain IOSH membership and thoroughly deserves his success. IOSH membership will add value to the Senior Management Team and to the business as a whole.”
The next stage in the IOSH membership hierarchy is Certified Member, which requires two years of CPD and usually a degree-level qualification like a NEBOSH diploma.
This accolade is the latest in a series of successes for Kevin: in June 2023 Kevin gained a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
Great work, Kevin!
