The team at Soanes is celebrating after we retained our BRC certification and learnt that we are in the running for two regional business awards.
We were very proud to retain our A grade status against Issue 7 of the BRC certification programme that is globally recognised as a benchmark for food safety management systems and best practice for product safety and quality.
Technical officer Helen Bettley, pictured, is delighted with the result: “Congratulations and thank you to everyone at Soanes for the part that they have played in the successful retention of our BRC A grade status. With only six minor non-conformances, we have improved our performance since last year.”
In addition to the commitment to BRC, capital investment elsewhere in the business has helped us to reach the final of Business of 2016 with a Green Ethos category in the Chamber Bridlington and Yorkshire Coast Business Awards (CBYCBA) and of the Large Business category in the York Press Business Awards 2016.
