Trainee Poultry Farm Manager

Due to continued growth, Clive Soanes Broilers Ltd is seeking a full-time Trainee Poultry Farm Manager to join our team. This newly created role will provide support across our six award-winning poultry rearing farms, all located within the Driffield area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the poultry industry. Working alongside our experienced farm managers, you will receive hands-on training in all aspects of poultry production and farm management. Experience is not essential – a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic are far more important.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the daily management of poultry houses.
  • Monitoring bird health, welfare, and performance.
  • Maintaining high standards of biosecurity and animal welfare.
  • Supporting feeding, watering, and environmental control systems.
  • Recording and reporting production data.
  • Helping to manage farm staff and daily operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and industry regulations.

What We’re Looking For

  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • Interest in agriculture or livestock production.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Full UK driving licence essential.
