We’ve been shortlisted in a national food awards programme

The team at Church Hill Farm are celebrating after reaching the final of a prestigious food industry award.

We’re pleased to share the news that we have reached the final of the Best Poultry Product category in the annual Food Management Today awards with our Yorkshire Christmas Cockerel.

Factory manager, Dmitrijus Solovjovas, said: “Our Yorkshire Christmas Cockerel is a delicious alternative to turkey and proved very successful last Christmas, so we’re delighted it has been judged worthy of a place in the final against some industry giants.”

Products are judged on taste, packaging, aroma, visual appeal and cooking performance.

We face competition from Cornfed Chicken Supreme Wrapped in Bacon – Owen Taylor & Sons Ltd; Aldi Specially Selected Sourdough Breaded Wild Garlic & Jersey Butter Chicken Kievs; Red Tractor Chicken – Kings Fine Cooked Meats; Free Range Turkey Bacon – Ambry Foods and Cajun Spiced Chicken Schnitzel – Owen Taylor & Sons Ltd, and will find out who has won at an awards event in London on 12th June.

The annual Food Management Today Industry Awards are a celebration of the creativity, innovation and excellence of the British food industry.
